We want to express our heartfelt thanks to The Blazer Foundation. Last fall our clients and staff experienced a horrifying event. Armed robbers entered one of our group homes and held clients and staff at gunpoint while robbing the home. The criminals still have not been caught. Our sense of safety and security was shattered. We acted quickly and added significant electronic security upgrades to our homes to protect our clients and the hard working staff who serve them. These improvements, while absolutely necessary in our mind, were an unanticipated expense and not part of our budget. This is where the amazing people at The Blazer Foundation come in. They awarded the Center a grant for $24,538.00 which covers the full cost of the security upgrades! Thank you to everyone at The Blazer Foundation for returning a sense of safety and security to our people.
