Students at Stephen Mack Middle School got into the Christmas spirit in a big way this year. The Student Council and National Junior Honor Society organized a schoolwide collection for Wimpy’s Fund and a hat and mitten tree for the Goldie Floberg Center.

Even in a struggling economy, the Stephen Mack students raised more than $3,000 to help 30 children have a happy Christmas.

Volunteers shopped for presents and the students spent an afternoon after school wrapping the gifts. The presents were distributed by the Rockton Lions Club.
