The Center’s origins date back to 1918, when a home to provide protection and care for unwed mothers and young women following Camp Grant soldiers was founded in Rockford.

Much has changed since then and today. Over the years, the Goldie Floberg has grown in to a leader in providing Community Living Services, Adult Learning Services,  and Employment Services to people with developmental disabilities.  Our goal is to help each person craft a life of meaning that allows them to flourish!
