Volunteer Opportunities

Do you have a hobby or skill that you would like to share with people with developmental disabilities? Are you a patient person who likes to teach? We are always looking for instructors for enrichment classes in our adult living program. Classes can consist of a single time seminar, a multi-week class last up to 4 weeks or an ongoing class offering.

Examples of topics include – but are not limited to – learning to play musical instruments, gardening, yoga, exercise classes, science, computer classes, cooking classes, and various art classes.

Volunteers working directly with the people we serve are required to complete an application and orientation process that includes fingerprinting, background checks and a brief training program.

We also need volunteers for our direct mail campaign and for wrapping Christmas gifts when the holiday season arrives.
